Rainbow Ramble – Medieval March!
On Saturday August 5th Stephen will take us on a countryside walk through New Hall Valley, home to New Hall Manor one of the oldest medieval moat houses in Britain, showing us other interesting sites along the way.

This wonderfully green, flat 4 ½ mile ramble will be a station to station walk, starting at Chester Road station and ending at Sutton Coldfield station. It will be dog friendly and we will stop for a picnic lunch along the way. As the walk will mainly be countryside, there will be no chance to stop to buy lunch, so we recommend that you bring a packed lunch with you. Also at the end of the walk there will be an opportunity for a drink at the pub next to the station.

Chester Road and Sutton Coldfield stations are both on the cross-city line between Birmingham and Lichfield. If you are travelling by train, please ensure your ticket will get you to Chester Road and return from Sutton Coldfield. We meet from 10:30am on Chester Road Station car park and set off promptly at 11am.
