About Peer Mentoring

Our trained volunteer Peer Mentors are here to offer support to LGBT community members, to explore questions they may have related to their gender or sexuality in a friendly and relaxed environment.

People who would like this type of support will be paired with our trained Peer Mentors to share experiences and to support participants to have greater understanding of looking after their well-being .

The type of support you receive will be tailored to meet your individual holistic needs depending what is going on in your life right now.

How to access Peer Mentoring

We are now ready to take referrals from individuals; GPs and the NHS; voluntary or statutory services, or colleges and universities.

A potential Peer Mentee will be invited in for an initial informal meeting to make sure this service is suitable for them; otherwise we have a range of services that we can refer and signpost into.

Call the team on 0121 643 0821 or e-mail sianfinn@blgbt.org
