LGBT-affirmative counsellor

Job Role

Birmingham LGBT is seeking to appoint a counsellor to join its team which delivers trauma-informed, LGBT-affirmative counselling and support to LGBT survivors of domestic abuse and violence in Birmingham.

Salary: £31,154 pro-rata (approx. 80%) for 30 hours per week, that may include evening and Saturday work, plus up to 5% matched pension contributions.

Paid annual leave: 25 days pro-rata (approx. 80%) plus bank holidays.

Contract: 1 year fixed-term, renewal subject to funding.

Reports to: Domestic abuse and violence support team leader.
