Are you interested in volunteering to be a member of Birmingham LGBT’s Trans Advisory group?

The group will be made of members of the local trans and non-binary community and will advise on and feed into Birmingham LGBT’s new Trans Inclusion Project, which will be working with mainstream organizations (i.e. health, social care, third sector) to help them become trans inclusive through training and policy reform. Members of the advisory group would co-design and co-deliver a training programme, act as ‘mystery shoppers’, and also support the evaluation of the project.

Meetings will be monthly, and held on a weekday evening in a central Birmingham location (day TBC).

If you’re interested and want more details, please drop an email to robynfoley@blgbt.org by  2pm on Thursday 30th January. Alternatively, call the centre on 0121 643 0821 and ask for Robyn. I hope to speak to you soon!
