Trans and non binary youth group

WHAT IS EMERGE

Emerge is a regular youth group specifically for trans, non binary, gender fluid and gender questioning young individuals aged 13 to 18 (up to 19th birthday). The group is a safe space for young people to meet, connect and create their own community with the support of Youth Workers.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT EMERGE

The group offers a place to be yourself and to gain friendships whilst taking part in a variety of well-being related activities, workshops and fun social activities to help grow your confidence and self-esteem. We have a budget which the young people can use to arrange their own trips and activities. Activities can be chosen by the young people who attend and are supported by our youth workers.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES EMERGE MEET?

We run a regular group session at the Birmingham LGBT Centre. Please contact our youth worker team for more information: Emerge@blgbt.org

1 TO 1 WELLBEING SUPPORT

We can also offer a limited amount of one to one support for those who may not yet feel confident to attend the group or would like to receive emotional support to help with their wellbeing. These are designed to provide holistic support for our young people, facilitated by our youth workers.

WHO RUNS EMERGE
