50+ Wellbeing Support

Our aim is for older LGBTQI+ people to live happy, healthy and well-connected lives.

This service provides tailored wellbeing support, information and guidance to LGBTQI+ people aged 50+, living in the West Midlands area. that is inclusive and understanding of the community’s needs and is designed to empower older people to improve their emotional wellbeing.

Older LGBTQI+ people can experience social isolation, loneliness, discrimination and lack of respect. Our service is welcoming and non-judgemental.

One-to-one support

The one-to-one sessions provide a relaxed, non-judgmental and safe space for you to explore what might be affecting your wellbeing, and work towards solutions.

You can attend your sessions in person (at Birmingham LGBT Centre), online or by phone call.

2 April:    Fitting Fitness Into Your Life

23 April:  Finances for Later Life

7 May:     A Place To Call Home in Later Life

4 June:    Your Fab Funeral – Planning the End of Your Life
