This service provides tailored wellbeing support, information and guidance to LGBTQI+ people aged 50+, living in the West Midlands area, that is inclusive and understanding of the community’s needs and is designed to empower older people to improve their emotional wellbeing.
Older LGBTQI+ people can experience social isolation, loneliness, discrimination and lack of respect.
The one-to-one sessions provide a relaxed, non-judgemental and safe space for you to explore what might be affecting your wellbeing, and work towards solutions.
Our workshops are aimed at people aged 50 and over: a place where we can meet, share, learn and support each other. Please see the Events Calendar for more information about each event.
If you have any ideas for these workshops, or would like to be updated with workshop information, please call 0121 643 0821 or email mariahughes@blgbt.org.
Our vision is a vibrant, diverse, lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community in Birmingham, UK in which individuals can realise their full potential and have equal access to what the city has to offer.
