WHEN: Saturday 1st October
TIME: 10:30 for an 11am start
WHERE: Sarehole Mill Car Park (Cole Bank Road B13 0BD) from 10.30am ready to start walking promptly at 11am.
WHAT:

This remarkable walk with its links to Lord of the Rings is full of surprises. Our leader, Joe Wood, will tell you how the scenery we ramble through influenced Tolkien’s stories. There are some really magical things to see – it’s not to be missed!

It is a circular walk of less than four miles, estimated end time 3pm. Mostly flat, especially if it is wet, and is only suitable for dogs on a lead. Lunch at The Covered Wagon – do bring a packed lunch if you prefer. http://www.sizzlingpubs.co.uk/findapub/northwest/thecoveredwagonmoseley/food . At the end of the walk you can visit a cafe and Sarehole Mill museum (£6 entry).

Sarehole Mill car park (Cole Bank Road B13 0BD) from 10.30am ready to start walking promptly at 11am. As always we will go whatever the weather, so please wear suitable footwear. For the first time, there is no nearby train station. The number 5 and 11 buses run regularly to the start/finish
