WHAT:
This remarkable walk with its links to Lord of the Rings is full of surprises. Our leader, Joe Wood, will tell you how the scenery we ramble through influenced Tolkien’s stories. There are some really magical things to see – it’s not to be missed!
It is a circular walk of less than four miles, estimated end time 3pm. Mostly flat, especially if it is wet, and is only suitable for dogs on a lead. Lunch at The Covered Wagon – do bring a packed lunch if you prefer. http://www.sizzlingpubs.co.uk/findapub/northwest/thecoveredwagonmoseley/food . At the end of the walk you can visit a cafe and Sarehole Mill museum (£6 entry).
