UNMUTED with Birmingham LGBT are proud to present an evening with writer and performance poet Dean Atta as part of Black History Month. The wordsmith will be leading poetry workshops and will share his musings to empower writers to artistically use their voice and tell their stories through poetry.

Named most influential LGBT person by the Independent, Dean Atta will also be exploring and discussing the impact and lives of the Black LGBT community throughout history. This session is a chance to explore new ways of expressing yourself and building resilience through writing; open to writers of all abilities and levels of experience.
