A massive thank you to our volunteers, community and team for your help and support over Birmingham Pride weekend! Our team and volunteers put in a lot of work behind the scenes to get the centre ready and it all paid off, thank you.
The LGBTQ+ community faces higher rates of mental health struggles, isolation, sexual health inequalities, substance issues, barriers to healthcare and more. Trans communities in particular are facing increasing discrimination and challenges to their rights and safety. Birmingham Pride weekend is an opportunity for the us to reach a large number of people in our community and to spread the word about our vital support services.
