Birmingham Older LGBT People’s Housing Group invites you to a FREE event around the housing needs of older LGBT people, in Birmingham and beyond.
- If you are an LGBT person – ‘younger’ or ‘older’ – who is concerned about how you will be housed and cared for in your later years
- If you are a representative of an agency providing housing, housing-related services, services to older people or services to LGBT people
- If you are interested in finding out more about what options older LGBT people have and what they could be
then this event is for you.
Birmingham Older LGBT People’s Housing Group will be launching their survey report: “In or Out? The housing needs of older LGBT people in Birmingham” with the assistance of author, comedienne and wit VG Lee. Copies of the report are free and available. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to get involved in a focus group facilitated by Stonewall Housing, visit information stalls for a variety of services, and contribute to this important debate.
Refreshments, including buffet tea, will be provided.
