As part of our LGBT HISTORY MONTH 2018, Birmingham LGBT invites you to join us in a relaxed and interactive conversation with the ever so pleasant Ayla Holdom.

Date: Thursday, 15/02/2018

Time: 6pm – 8pm

Place: The Loft, 143 Bromsgrove Street. B5 6RG

Ayla served as a military helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force, for 13 years and for 7 of those was an extremely proud and commended member of the RAF Search and Rescue team.

Ayla draws deeply from her professional & personal experiences to work alongside many others towards the integrity, empowerment and inclusion of trans individuals, allies and organisations alike.

She is a committed supporter of LGBT charity Stonewall and sits on their Trans Advisory Group. She is also an advisor for All About Trans, a social enterprise who primarily work with UK media on developing their representation of trans people.

Ayla has been listed on the UK’s Rainbow List twice by the Independent on Sunday, received one of Attitude Magazine’s inaugural Pride Awards and has a shiny British LGBT Award for Inspirational Role Model.

She lives in the Dorset countryside with her wife, Wren (an ITU doctor), their three cats and numerous chickens.

It will be a fun and informative evening, the event is free but booking via eventbrite is essential.
