For Trans Day of Visibility Birmingham LGBT are hosting a space for trans people to come as they are. We are placing value on intra-community visibility. On Sunday, 30th March 2025, Martineau Gardens will be a natural space of trans friendship, solidarity, and fun!

We know all too often there’s a negative and critical framing of trans people in the media (mainstream and social), and this can have sharp material impact on the lives and health of trans people in the UK. TDOV can be fraught out there, this event will be a relaxed and informal get-together of fellow trans people and celebration of our collective existence!

Tldr; Trans love and liberation now!

We are looking for workshops and entertainment that respond to this brief and wanted to have an open call to ensure this opportunity (paid) was open to as many people as possible. We will give priority to Trans, Disabled, and Global Majority creatives.
