Come along to this session if you provide extra support to someone who lives in Birmingham. You may do their shopping, collect medication and attend health appointments or you may provide more hands on care.
Join fellow Carer Neil and meet other LGBTQ+ Carers in a safe and welcoming space. The group will be held on a monthly basis from 12 noon until 2.00 pm at the Birmingham LGBT Centre, 141 Hurst Street, Birmingham B5 6EW.
Tuesday 15 September: William Houseago from Birmingham Mind will lead a session on anxiety.
Tuesday 13 October: Richard Mole from Gateway Family Services will lead a session on local health & wellbeing support, financial assistance, social prescribing and free health checks.
Tuesday 10 November: Janet Haley from Act on Energy will lead a session on reducing utility bills, managing energy debt and accessing grants for heating and insulation.
