SHOUT Festival Manager

Birmingham LGBT is seeking to recruit a dynamic arts professional to oversee the artistic programme, development, and strategic direction for SHOUT Festival of Queer Arts and Culture.

A skilled communicator, the ideal candidate will also lead on relationship management with funders, key stakeholders, and partners, to develop a year-round programme of LGBT cultural activity in Birmingham.

The post holder will have a passion for queer arts and culture, providing positive, challenging, and accurate representation for LGBTQ+ people in the city’s arts venues, and advocating for access, inclusion, and change for LGBTQ+ communities within the sector.

The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in central Birmingham.


Terms:

  • NJC SCP 30 £27,905 per annum plus 5% matched pension contribution.

  • 2 years fixed term contract (ongoing subject to funding)

  • 37 hours per week

  • 25 days annual leave entitlement.
