Volunteering with Birmingham LGBT

Birmingham LGBT  are keen for people to join their existing group of committed and enthusiastic volunteers.

Located on Holloway Circus, in Birmingham city centre, we offer a range of sexual health and other wellbeing services for the LGBT community.  Our holistic services range from regular support groups, peer mentoring, counselling sessions and sexual health testing and clinics.

Volunteers form an essential part of the team providing our services supporting the operation of the LGBT Centre.

Volunteers can also support the work of the Birmingham LGBT as and when required carrying out a meet and greet role at events such as the Shout Festival, Pink Picnic and Pride events.

All volunteers receive training appropriate to their role.  Those helping out at the centre also require an enhanced DBS check.
