Senior LGBT Independent Domestic Violence Advocate
Part-time, 18.5 hours per week
Birmingham LGBT is seeking to recruit a part time Senior LGBT Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, funded by the Henry Smith Foundation. The aim of the project is to ensure that LGBT victims/survivors of domestic violence have access to an LGBT IDVA who will offer support, signposting, advocacy, risk management and safety planning.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in Central Birmingham.
Terms:
- NJC SOI Point 23: £26,999 (18.5 hours pro-rata: £13,499) plus up to 5% matched pension contributions
- Flexible 18.5 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work.
- 25 days pro-rata annual leave entitlement.
- Please note: this is a 12 months fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
