Chair of the Board of Trustees

Job Role

Birmingham LGBT is seeking to recruit a new Chair of the Board of Trustees

For over twenty years, Birmingham LGBT has played a leading role in developing opportunities for LGBT individuals across the Greater Birmingham area, and, over the last ten years, has seen a process of rapid growth and expansion.

Our vision is a vibrant, diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community in Birmingham, in which individuals can realise their full potential and have equal access to what the city has to offer.

These are exciting times for one of the leading LGBT charities in the UK as we continue to deliver against an ambitious strategic plan, and ensure that Birmingham and the West Midlands is one of the best places in the country for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people to live, work, and socialise in.

Following the decision by our existing Chair to step down after a four-year tenure, Birmingham LGBT’s Board of Trustees is seeking to appoint to the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees.

We are passionately dedicated to achieving our commitments and are looking to appoint an equally committed individual to work with our Director, Board of Trustees and provide leadership to our great, highly respected, and valued charity. If you are interested in becoming our next chair, please follow the below link for a recruitment pack containing details  on how to apply.

Deadline for applications is midnight on Wednesday 14th February 2024
