If you can swim 100m freestyle (front crawl) and have maybe even thought about doing a triathlon (an event combining swimming, cycling and running), here is an opportunity to swim in the University of Birmingham’s new pool and take your swimming to the next level with this free swimming for triathlon session.
This session is supported by Birmingham Running, Athletics and Triathlon club (the BRATs!).
When Tuesday 20th February, 7:30-8:30am
Location: Sport & Fitness, University of Birmingham, (intersection of A38 and Edgbaston Park Road) Edgbaston, B15 2TT
This is a coached intro to swimming for triathlon.
A chance to be coached by the University’s professional triathlon coach, who will help start you on your tri journey.
Louise Barron, University of Birmingham triathlon coach, says “I am really excited about coaching the LGBT Swim for Triathlon taster session. The new university sports centre is a fantastic venue and I’m really keen to encourage more LGBT people to take their first steps to becoming triathletes!”
Please book this free triathlon session via Eventbrite if you want to attend this session.
