Birmingham LGBT are proud to be hosting a conference on Friday 13th July at Villa Park in Birmingham, 9am to 4pm.
Plenaries and workshops offer the latest insight into motivations and attitudes of LGBT+ people to sport and physical activity & strategies for engagement.
Workshops:
- Including trans & non-binary participants
- Making school PE LGBT+ inclusive
- Including older LGBT+ people in community sport
- Engaging LGBT+ people in sport & physical activity; strategies for success
Closing Plenary:
L/G/B/T – Segmentation & Intersection, a panel discussion (the diverse experience of LGBT+ people & sport) looking at the diverse experiences of what is often considered a homogenous ‘community’.
Cost:
£30 funded organisations, £10 unfunded organisations.
