19th September: Thelma and Louise (1991, Dir: Ridley Scott)
The film, about two friends who embark on a road trip that ends up in unforeseen circumstances, has elements of multiple genres and has been described as a drama, adventure or road movie with elements of a romantic comedy.
Stars Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Harvey Keitel, Michael Madsen, Christopher McDonald, and a then-unknown Brad Pitt in one of his first major film roles
